Borehamwood Islamic Society, operating as Elstree & Borehamwood Islamic Community (EBIC), serves as a central point of worship and community engagement for Muslims in the Elstree and Borehamwood areas. Located at the Maxwell Park Community Centre (a former Girl Guides hut), it offers 5 daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Tarawih during Ramadan, and Islamic education for children and youth. The society has recently moved to these larger premises to better accommodate women worshippers with dedicated, separate prayer spaces.
