What is Muslimnet UK?
A free website for Muslims in the UK. It has a mosque events hub, the 99 Names of Allah, an Islamic lunar calendar, a Quran reading planner, a qada counter for missed prayers and fasts, and articles on faith and community life.
What is the events hub?
Mosques we work with post their talks, classes and trips there, and you can browse them as a list, cards, or a monthly calendar. Join the mailing list and every Friday morning you get one email with the coming fortnight's events. If your mosque would like its events listed, get in touch.
Do I need an account?
Only for tools that save things for you. The Qada Counter needs one so your counts aren't lost, and signing in on the events page lets you save events and manage email notifications. There is no password: enter your email, click the link we send you, and you're in. Everything else works without any account.
What is the Qada Counter?
A tracker for missed prayers and fasts. Set your starting numbers, then tap the minus button each time you make one up. Your counts are saved to your account and stay in sync on every device you use.
What is the 99 Names of Allah tool?
Each of the 99 names with Arabic text, transliteration, English meaning, and a short reflection prompt.
How does the Islamic Calendar work?
It shows the current Hijri date along with that day's significance, historical events, and relevant hadiths.
Is Muslimnet UK free to use?
Yes. Every tool and article is free, and accounts are free too. The site carries some advertising to help cover running costs.

Is my personal information safe?
We keep what the site stores to a minimum. If you make an account, that's your email address plus whatever the tool needs, like your qada counts or which events you saved. Subscribing to event emails stores your email with an unsubscribe link in every message. We never sell your data. The privacy policy spells out the rest.
Can I suggest new features or content?
Please do. Most of what's on the site exists because someone wanted it. Email or message us with the idea.
Can I donate to support the platform?
Yes, there's a PayPal donation button in the footer of every page. Donations go toward hosting and building new tools.
